    Hi,

When I try to edit a post after updating to Spectra 2.4.0, browser response with:

    This site can’t be reached

Deactivating plugin, resumes normal edit (of course without Spectra blocks).

    No problems with previous version.

    Hello @abhijitnage

Thank you for your willingness to help, but the site is in the stage of local development. So it want be possible to offer access.

Please note that I use Spectra for more than 1.5 years (even from the era that it was called “Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg”), always performing the updates, and I had no problem.

Reverting to previous version (2.3.5), was the solution in my case.

    Hello @elias69,

    Thanks for writing back.

Please check whether this is because of PHP resource depletion by modifying and adjusting the memory limit with the help of your host provider using this guide:https://wpastra.com/docs/modify-your-php-configuration/.

    Hope this helps.

Please let us know how this goes.

    Hi @judith0,

I did the changes you suggested in php.ini. Problem remains with 2.4.0.

In Chrome -> Developer Tools -> Console when the 2.4.0 is enabled and when trying to open a post for edit, the error message is:

    (index):6733 crbug/1173575, non-JS module files deprecated.

    I also have this problem
The function of editing articles and pages cannot be used
    show can’t access website
I have tried to turn off all plug-ins, and it is confirmed that it is a problem above Spectra2.4.0
Also removed the plug-in and reinstalled, the situation remains the same
It is currently rolled back to version 2.3.5 to use

The problem with versions 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 still persist in my case. I am able to edit post and pages up until version 2.3.5.

BUT, because there is always a but…

But the problem arise only when using my local dev site which is running on Windows 10 + XAMPP (PHP 7.4.25).

On the live server, both 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 versions work without problems.

I am using XAMPP on Windows for many-many years, and this is the first time I experience such an incompatibility.

Perhaps it would worth to try to replicate the problem with an XAMPP installation on Windows.

    Thank you!

Finally I managed to solve the problem with XAMPP and Spectra version 2.4.0 and up.

The cause of not being able to edit posts, pages, etc, after updating to Spectra 2.4.0, was a setting in php.ini file. A setting that is required for running Moodle.

    And that setting is:

    zend_extension = “[PATH TO XAMPP DIR]\php\ext\php_opcache.dll”

After removing this setting, Spectra works with XAMPP on Windows 10.

I did not have this problem, up until version 2.3.5.
