    Hi,

I have just pressed the link “update to 1.2.0.rc1”.

The result: broken Akeeba Backup page in WP.

    Empty page, it sais only:

“ERROR! Could not load the backup engine; file does not exist. Technical information: Path to integration.php: /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/akeebabackupcore/helpers Path to factory file: /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/akeebabackupcore/helpers/../app/Solo/engine/Factory.php “

I do not wish to uninstall and re install Akeeba Backup. Can this
    be fixed on another way?

Thank you for providing feedback on this Release Candidate version! There was a tagging error in version 1.2.0.rc1. Unfortunately there is no way to remove or replace a problematic version on www.remarpro.com, therefore we released version 1.2.0.rc2 immediately afterwards. Can you please upgrade to 1.2.0.rc2 and let me know if the error persists? If it does, please let me know what is your PHP version (e.g. 5.5.15) and your operating system (e.g. Linux, Windows, Mac OS X and so on).

Np, thanks for the new version! I already checked for new updates, but it still says I have the actual version installed. I will let you know asap.

I’m having the same problem, so I’m following these threads instead of starting a new topic. I hope that’s ok…

I deleted/re-installed version 1.2.0rc2, but the problem is persisting.

    OS X 10.8.5
    PHP: 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.5

I will continue to watch these threads for the solution. Thank you!

We have found out what the issue is: some filenames are in lowercase when their first letter should be uppercase. We are preparing a new release (1.2.0.rc3) which will address this issue.

www.remarpro.com uses a Subversion repository to provision the update packages to the plugins hosted in the Plugins repository. Unfortunately, this makes it impossible for us to test the packaging before actually releasing a version. On top of that, there is no feedback whether filenames are committed in the correct case or not. On the bright side, this version is the last one where a filename case change is required so we don’t expect this near-impossible to prevent issue to occur again.

Hello! I just updated to the latest version RC3 and now I can′t backup files. The log says it stops when “start scanning <root>.

    AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
    Internal status: error
    XHR ReadyState: 4
    Raw server response:
    (HTML containing script tags)

It works if I only backup the database.

I have used Akeeba for many years (joomla and now wordpress) and have tried the normal fixes, but nothing helps.

    What is the next step?

    Where to send the log?

    Best Thomas

First go to the Configuration page. Don’t change anything, just click on the “Save & Close” button. Now retry the backup. Does it work now?

There should be five discrete steps when restoring the site: first page, database restoration, site setup, data migration, final page. Can you provide a screenshot of the first page of the restoration?

    Here you have all procces

Thank you. I can see that all the steps are there, but I suspect what is going on. In what you have labeled as Step 6 (https://postimg.org/image/5qqdtokmb/) there is a selection box under “Database Tables”. If you scroll a little further down you will see that it has tables from your theme and/or third party plugins you are using on your site. Can you try selecting all of those tables on restoration and let me know if that works?

    JDLPEKE

    (@jdlpeke)

    Same result on that way.

I put footer menu and make backuo again for test.

restored and again menu lost. The probelm i see is these.

As you can see there only make .htcacces step, before i update to 1.2rc3 it make always 3 steps that 1 updating and 1 more
