  • I have the same problem because one feed item seem to be corrupted by a publicity that is larger than the sidebar in which rss are showing.
I go around the problem by deleting the item in the “feed items” page in the back office… But each time feeds are updated, this item comes back…

if the problem is with the feed and it’s item, one thing you can do is try going to global options and set the timing not to bring in older posts…..the plugin works with the feeds you have and if the feeds have some html that is messing up your site, then the other option is to check the box to eliminate all html in the plugin’s admin.

I don’t quite understand when you say “set the timing not to bring in older posts”. What do I have to tick or untick or modify in the global settings? I ask for a daily update, and remove items after 4 weeks (if I take never I get too many of them).

Same thing with “the box to eliminate all html”. What should I select or unselect?

    Thank you for your help.

I also have an issue with the filters (by date or by name), which does not work properly for me…

first of all, if using the autoPost, the go into the admin panel for that and look under HTML, Image and Video handling – you can either get rid of all html tags (including images) or check the box that says to get limited html in the excerpt.

As for the filters, I’m not sure what filters you are talking about (the category filters on the category page?)

I found that the option to not bring in older posts was not pushed in the last update, so this will be pushed in the next update.

I am not using the autopost function and will not.
All html problems have therefore to be treated when receiving feed items (future amelioration of your plugin?).

As for filters, I might not have used the right word: I meant the way feed items are listed in the backoffice.
When you select a date list (whether in chrono order or not), items are not really ordered.
Same thing when I try to list par feed, it is not in alphabetical order (c, i then d… and when I do it the other way e, l, i then g…).

The sorting issue will be solved in the next update. As for the date list, what are you referring to?

I guess what I mean by date list is the sorting issue by date or by feed.
I am looking forward to your next update.
    Thank you.
