After update plugin can’t put the right thumb size!

Could you please try using OTF Regenerate Thumbnails to see if the correct ones get created/pulled.

Also, which was your older version?

i’m sure the correct size is available as i used bulk regenerate by wp-CLI

if i used wp rollback plugin to downgrade the plugin version, i will lose database entires for post views counter or not? as we can give it a try!

any code of function can we add in the theme to force the plugin use the correct size ?

I realised one thing – can you check if you activated the setting Generate thumbnail sizes along with selecting tptn_thumbnail

The issue is the images are not being created. Can you please install OTF Regenerate as this will create those images on the fly. If an image size (in this case 145×145) doesn’t exist, then the plugin defaults to pulling out the full image.

Good news, it worked with the otf plugin and created 140×140 size!

but please i want to know how can i edit this image file size as in the widget and top 10 settings i use 130×130 … and in css i use tptn_thumb{max-width:100%;height:120px;width:128px}

and please dose otf plugin just work on missed used images or on all old images in the site?

also i tried to use another custom image size in the theme with 120×100 without creating tptn images but the plugin used the full image size and i don’t know why!!

last thing … as i have huge images in the site, can i unset the tptn_thumb size and just use the otf plugin ? .. as it will save unused space!

I’m confused as to the various sizes you’ve mentioned to me. To limit the number of images, there is only one tptn_thumb image that the plugin creates and that is based on the setting you put.

You need to keep OTF activate always and it will create images that do not exist if any plugin or theme asks for that specific image size. I think it only does it for the ones that were registered but not for any image, but I am not sure.

It’s not just for Top 10. I usually use it when I’m switching themes.

To unset tptn_thumb sizes you can just deselect the Create images option in the settings page.
