  • What error message are you getting if any?

or do you just get a white screen? Or are you being redirected somewhere else ??

right now it seems like it is only on my main computer that is not working… i can’t access my backend panel.

after keying in my log in details, it will show a no data found error code.
If i happened to get in, it will take very long and just stopped.

I can log in from my ipad. but not sure why i can’t log in through my computer…

that sounds like a browser error message rather than anything to do with your WordPress site.

I would suggest that you clear out your cache first – and try again.

i did many many times already…

    It failed on chrome, firefox…

I just did a disk cleanup.

It was sucessful once, but 1 minutes late, it showed, “no data received”

this issue has also been reported on another thread

the fact that I can reach the login page of your site – leads me to believe it is NOT a WP issue but a connectivity issue.

the iPad which you have successfully accessed from – is this using the same network settings as your desktop?

Are you sure that you cleared browser cookies?

    Hi!.

read through that, don’t know what’s the conclusion…

The ipad is not using from the same network… it is using from 3g.

i’ve cleared all my browser cookies far too many times…

Okay, straight away I can see that the entire install is messed up.

Get a copy of wp-config.php and a copy of your database (in case things go wrong).

Delete WordPress from the server (leaving the database intact) and re-install it, copying over wp-config as well.

    Should fix things up.

    hi.

As i’m noob at this, can u explain step by step?

Copy of WP-config.php and database(SQL right? – How do i get the copy of that?)

Delete wordpress? you mean go to my ftp the entire folder of files?

    Reinstall it? like how?

wouldn’t this erase all my files?

    Thanks!

I’m writing this as though you are using cPanel

Log into cPanel, and download wp-config from the File Manager.
Go to phpMyAdmin and download a SQL backup of the database.

Once that is done, in File Manager, delete all WP files/folders (usually in public html).

Yes, this will get erase all your files, but your posts and pages will be safe.
You will also want to get a copy of your Media folder too.

Download and extract WordPress on to your computer, and upload that to your server.
Copy wp-config to your server (linking to the database immediately) and also copy the Media folder across.

    Hi!

So may i know what will be gone and what will still be there?

Looks like a lot of things will be gone as the themes and plugins will not be there?

    Thanks!

Yea, sorry, themes and plugins will be gone.

You can make backup of these, or re-upload them when the site is back up.

This is basically like a factory reset for WordPress.

wow… right now it seems like it is the ISP issues, on my computer, i’m connected to my home broadband.

as i’m trying it out on my ipad that, it is able to load when using 3g services. When it is on my Ipad connect to my house wifi, it just fails….

while quin correctly points out that you install may be a little unconventional – i think you are better to pursue the ISP/broadband connectivity initially…

the fact that your IPAd works via 3g – and you can login through it – means your main problem is associated with your network…

Hey, it could be ISP, I hope it is, because it’s less work for you.

I’ve just run across it being both at the same time before -.-
