after update not stars showing and templates changed

    Why is it that with every update this plugins has problems??
    every time I have to re-configure the stars images and the template text.
    why can the plugin remember the settings???? this is very anoying.

    I have been using it for years on a live hight traffic site, and right now I dont have stars and have to change the template texts AGAIN…

    when trying to set the stars images (png or png flat) it doesnt show the images and also doesnt change the options!!!!! “No Ratings Option Updated”

    what can I do? this is urgent, please help me figure this out.

    Weird, I don’t have this problem though, this version doesn’t event touch the template. It is mostly the reorg of the file structure.

    Did you modify the plugin manually?

    Also, what’s wrong with your site? I saw the stars and they work fine and nice.

    well yes, its fine now, but I had to rename the stars folder name, and rewrite the template text.
    I dont remember modifiying the plugin….
    I hope on next update this wont happen again…its a pain.

    I hope not to release an update, i normally update every 4-6 months.

    If you rename the stars folder, you are actually modifying plugin. Sadly, there is no way to add your own stars outside the plugin folder. In order to do that, the plugin needs a rewrite.

    Just remember what you did =)

    I have the same problem. After update it destroy everything…

    Very annoying !

    And I ran into this same problem

    What I did: ( 'wp_postratings_image_extension', 'gif' ) ); -> ( 'wp_postratings_image_extension', 'png' ) );

    Result: the settings are not saved Star Style (checkbox empty)

    The problem will not be solved? Many passive and just waiting for her corrections and not sdes write. And it is, and will not go away by itself.

    Version 1.84 is bugged. Path to pictures is wrong.

    Please update to a new version. Instead the only solution is to modify module sources files… Which it is not a recommended option…

    Yes, same issue. I found the bug.
    If you use PNG files, plugin is trying to load pictures from “custom_stars_flatpng” for example.

    But in previous plugin version, png folders were named like this : custom_stars_flat(png)

    So it can not work…
