    Hello, after updating both woocommerce plug in, and Ocean wp Simple theme, I have error messages. I can’t remember (and can’t find) the error message that appeared after the theme update, but it was something with MySQL heather…
    The message from woocommerce:
    “Your theme (OceanWP) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.”

    As a result, I have now different “add to cart ” buttons on my home page, and in the product categories pages. Different types, shapes, and colors. Homa page-as it was before but when I go to products-category – they are new and different

    Please tell me how to fix this?

    Update: so after many, many attempts with different ideas I have rolled back the woocommerce plugin to 3.6.5 it has returned this message:

    Warning: mysqli_query(): MySQL server has gone away in /home/u634909595/domains/coolstufflife.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007
    Warning: mysqli_query(): Error reading result set’s header in /home/u634909595/domains/coolstufflife.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007

    but the problem with the different button looks like it is solved now! But what does this mean? I want to be up to date with the latest plugins…

    Your theme contains copies of WooCommerce template files which are neccessary for generating your WooCommerce-related pages. This message means that some of these copies are out-of-date and must be updated to work with the current version.

    Here is a quick guide on updating those templates:

    Note that any changes made to the old templates (e.g. tweaks for your theme) must be redone in the new templates.

    @jordh is absolutely correct. The templates that the Ocean theme is overriding will need to be updated. You’ll want to wait for the theme authors to release an update for that to happen.

    They would be the best source of information about when that’ll happen.
