If you don’t have a host then you don’t have a website. Are you installing WordPress locally?

If you had a host you would be installing it onto someone else’s computer/ server.

It may be worth contacting your domain vendors to see whether you also purchased a hosting package. If you had, then you can ask them for support with “FTP” – Which is basically just a tool to upload files.

Can you post a link to your site ? i.e. is it on the internet?

If you don’t have a host then visiting your domain name in a Web browser would result in the equivalent of this:

You are wrong – I had other another site like this in wordperfect with just a domain for godaddy and the plattform here in wordpress and worked fine for 2 years !! No hosters there
