I’m guessing you’re using the event excerpt in your meta description. It contains html so it will cause issues there (see your html source).
Either use the ESC-variant (but that will cause the html to be escaped and thus to be shown in your description), or don’t use html there. Or use an event attribute or custom field for your meta description.

I’ve made some more testing, and indeed it is a bug: I don’t convert the placeholders to text for the headers anymore. I’ll correct that for the next version.

Thanks, Franky. We hadn’t found a fix. Eagerly awaiting update.

Franky, can I get more help please? Now my short descriptions are disappearing. When users submit from front end and when I submit from back end, short descriptions being entered disappear. Without the short description, the entire event description displays on All Events https://happeningsonomacounty.com/calendar/ page.

    Thanks!

I don’t recall changing anything like that. Maybe some function was renamed so the frontend submit plugin has an issue, but that should be visible in your logs (so check those).
However: please make a new bug on this, it is in fact not related to the bug you reported here (which is fixed).
