  • I have this same issue!

Actually, just figured it out, I had that file set to preload in the Autooptimize plugin. Just had to remove it from there.

After the uninstallation, please clear any page caching or site optimization plugins as they still might be serving old, outdated, or removed files.

    Thanks!

I have cleared all the cached files, still, it is requesting after installing this plugin, almost 2 months now, see the apache log

    “GET /wp-content/plugin s/easy-table-of-contents/vendor/icomoon/fonts/ez-toc-icomoon.woff2 HTTP/1.1” 301

I can’t find any folder related to easy-table-of-contents in the directory

due to this request, my server resources are consuming to very high

If you are still getting requests, then, somewhere on your site, you must have copy-pasted the icon font code into a page or, perhaps, into the theme’s custom CSS area. This is impossible for me to know if that was done.

ezTOC makes no permanent changes to the site with the exception of saving its settings options to the global WP Options table and the post meta. In neither of those cases, the icon font gets saved.

If you can share a link to an actual page making the request, I can take a quick look and maybe provide some additional guidance.

I have found the fonts/ez-toc-icomoon.woff2 in wp-rocket preload font section, I have removed it now

I will check the request again and update you soon
