After todays UPDATE error at linkedin

  • Hi, today we installed last version and when trying to connect to linkedin we got this message:

    unauthorized_scope_error:Scope “openid”_is_not_authorized_for_your_application

    Please set the LinkedIn Sign-In Method as “Sign In with LinkedIn.”
    This setting was introduced in the second-to-last update to ensure compatibility with recent LinkedIn API changes. Starting from August 1, 2023, “Sign In with LinkedIn” (SIWL) has been deprecated. For all new apps created after that date, LinkedIn recommends using “Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect” as the preferred Sign-In method. Existing apps that currently utilize “Sign In with LinkedIn” can continue to do so.

    If you decide to transition to “Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect,” please ensure that you add this option under your LinkedIn Developer App’s product section and also in the plugin settings page.
