    Hi, I would like to change the text which is displayed after the signature and before the confirmation. This test is not well translated in french. In english, it says approximately : you signed the petition but you have to ckeck your mailbox etc.” It is possible ?

    Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to change the widget texts on your own since all translations in Civist are deeply integrated, but we may change it for you.

    Do I correctly assume that you meant the following phrase?

    EN (original): “Thank you for showing your support! We need to verify your email address before your signature can be counted, please check your inbox.”

    FR (translation provided by a customer): “Vous avez signé la pétition mais vous devez vérifier votre adresse d’e-mail. Vérifiez votre bo?te de réception.”

    Do you have a suggestion for a better translation? That would be awesome!

    Also, if you have further proposals for French translations, we would be happy to hear your thoughts. Thank you very much.

    Thank you. The right translation in French could be : “Une demande de confirmation de votre signature vient de vous être envoyée sur l’adresse mail que vous avez indiquée. Merci de confirmer votre signature depuis ce message”.
    Once the correction made, will the plugin be updated automatically ?

    Thank you for providing us with the new, improved translation and for your time. That was very thoughtful.

    Unfortunately, a simple update is impossible, as translations are deeply integrated into the Civist system. Therefore a complete plugin release is necessary. I ask for your understanding that it may take some time until the update is available.

    I will take the new translation to our team meeting tomorrow to clarify the further procedure and how quickly we can make the change available. I will get back to you after that.

    Hi Nathaliedd !

    As promised, we had a more extended discussion today, and I want to give you an update about the result.

    We have integrated already the translation into our backend. Still, a rollout is not possible this week anymore due to the workload. However, we will make the plugin rollout next week, most likely on Tuesday or Wednesday, if nothing critical comes up.

    I will send you information as soon as the new translation is available. Please mind that after the rollout, a plugin update is necessary.

    I want to inform you that we finished the rollout of the translation.

    Depending on your browser, it can take a while until the new translation is visible due to the browser’s cache. You can force an update by processing a hard reload on the website by pressing Shift + R.
