After the latest wordpress update I cant edit any pages!

    Hi,
    With the new wordpress update I cant edit my pages! and comment sections for those pages are gone! what is going on!?

  • I’m not experiencing this on any of my sites. You may have to go through the usual drill of disabling and re-enabling plugins, one at a time, to determine the culprit. It could be your theme too. In any case, it is not effecting everybody.

    Please check for JS errors on the Edit Post screen. Then copy and paste them here.

    That sounds like possible theme incompatibility?

    Hi, Thanks a lot. yes that was on my part, the comment section was a theme option in my new theme (publisher) which by default was disabled, I enebaled it and all is fine.
    Concerning other errors, they are gone by clearing my browser cache.

    Hi,

    I too use the publisher theme. Can i know from fro where you enabled the comment section.

    Last week i had to restore whole site from backup as i was unable to fix the issue.

    Goto Admincp\publisher\theme options\General
    now scroll down, choose page and there select show comments
