    Hi,

I have around 1000 images in my WP media library and start Synchronize them with Google Cloud Storage with Stateless Mode was activated.

After the process 100% was successfully, the images are still available in WP media library although I have deactivated the plugin.

I am thinking that Stateless mode means that all images will be migrated (not copy) to GCS so If we deactivate the plugin, the images must not be available in WP media library. I checked them also in WP Upload directory in my VPS via FTP, yes they are there.

    Thank You

Yes that is right. They are working because the files are still in your server (not expected in stateless mood) and we don’t overwrite any attachment meta (expected).

I checked them also in WP Upload directory in my VPS via FTP, yes they are there.

The images shouldn’t have been in your server. They should have been deleted when the sync is completed.

When the sync completed was the media using GCS URL (before deactivating the WP-Stateless)?

    Thanks Alim,

    The problem was solved.

I reSynchronize them after disabling Smush plugin and w3total cache plugin. Now all the images were migrated to GCS successfully. I’ve checked theme also in the WP Upload directory, yes now they were gone.

I predicted that the problem was related to Smush plugin.

    Thank you.

    Thanks @wpku123,

Good to know that the problem has been solved.

We will check the compatibility with the Smush plugin. You can follow the GitHub issue we have created.
