after Submitting, form just has the loading symbol

    Hello,

    I had this working with another site and it worked well. After disbaling CF7 Grid Layout it was sending things off in an email and working great. I had a friend test and it did not work for him, I tested on my phone and it worked for me.

    But now it wont work at all. After hitting submit it just sits there with the loading symbol spinning for ages but nothing happens. I installed Flamingo to test if it was actually finishing and trying to send but Flamingo did not record anything and when I do a test E-Mail it works fine.

    It is hosted on my NAS at home as it is a form for work that would save us from writing by hand at work (some workers have the worst hand writing). I am unsure but I thinnk that something is crashing or maybe it locks up the program or a conflict of some sort?

    Plugins are all up-to-date and only running the following:
    Contact Form 7
    Contact Form 7 Signature Addon
    PDF Forms Filler for Contact Form 7
    WP Mail SMTP
    Flamingo (Deactivated atm)

    I don’t think the issue is with the PDF Forms Filler for Contact Form 7 plugin. You can do a quick test by disabling this plugin and seeing if the problem is resolved. Can you do that and report back if the problem was resolved?

    Can you elaborate more on what your friend’s problem was exactly? Was he unable to submit the form or did he just not receive the email message?

    Can you check your JavaScript console? Do you see any JS errors?

    Another issue might be with your SMTP settings. Your WP instance may not be able to reach the SMTP server.

    If you don’t mind me pocking around and if your WP instance is accessible from the Internet, I would like to log in and debug the problem. Send me your login details to admin at maximum dot software.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply, I think it might be more of a hardware issue? After submitting this Help ticket. I tried again about 5 hours later and it worked, but after just trying about 5 mins ago it did not work. I am starting to think that maybe there is not enough guts on the hardware side to do much.

    The problem was your Site URL had your local network IP so the form was submitting to an IP which is only accessible from within your network. I updated your Site URL and it seems to be working fine for me.
