After sign in, user being redirected homepage

First time trying out plugin and so far it seems Great and will handle what I have been searching for, but I think I may be missing something.

I have a page that protected, when user signs in, rather then it stay and that page it redirects them to the home page. Is this normal?
How can I keep them on the page they were on when to allow them to view content?
