After setting up for GSuite address, can I send from any address on that domain?

Hi Corey,

I have the exact same question as at the moment emails are sent with the email I use to connect WP Mail SMTP to the G Suite account

which is not the email I want to be in the From header

did you solve this?

You can’t set up more than one Gmail connection at this point with different email addresses.
But this is a good idea and I’ve recorded it in our feature requests list, so we will consider it when preparing the next releases.

one more question though,

I don’t think the ‘force From email’ works in this case

and it is always the email used to identify with the google app that is used

can you confirm?

if so I have to say it is confusing and maybe you could add a notice and hide the checkboxes and fields as a temporary measure?

Yes, Thomas. That’s a Google API limitation – you are allowed to send email only from an email address that you explicitly granted access to send from.

I will think about hiding from name/email for Gmail mailer (when saved). Or display an extra message.

ok it’s clearer now but this is confusing in the sense that for instance if you want to send emails for the WooCommerce flow with another email address you can’t if I understand right

would you have an advice hat would be the best strategy to send emails via smtp and still choose the sender from the different parts of WP/WC?
