• Hi guys

    We have an issue with configuring this plugin and are unsure whether its an issue with our hosting 1and1 or the configuration.
    After submitting the required credentials and saving when we send a test the server goes into a long state of loading and ultimately errors cant load. Needless to say the test email never gets sent out and as the page doesn’t load we also dont get any sort of error message.

    IDEA: As we use 1and1 (shared platform) I am starting to come to the conclusion that 1and1 may have closed various ports to prevent these actions. So does anyone know of a working solution?

    Any ideas guys

    Paul

    Additionally, after turning off CDN I now get various timeout errors.

    )
    2016-10-02 07:59:14 SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110)

    I’m getting the very same issue. Bump.

    Ok so I figured outhat our issue. The reason for our hanging was 1and1 (our host) blocks almost every outgoing port that isn’t heading to one of their servers thus preventing it seeing the smtp.
    We switched hosts to tsohost and it works perfectly.

    We recently switched hosts as well. That makes sense. Thanks for the heads up, Paul!

    Cheers!
