• Hi there,

I’m trying to restore the avada theme demo.

I did that 3 times. I come to the final step where it says
You need to perform two more steps:
    1. You must save your permalinks structure twice. Permalinks Settings (opens a new window)
    2. Review the plugin. (opens a new window)

I did that and after that nothing happens!
No settings uploaded, no pages, nothing!

    Hi bigdropgr,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Were you able to import the file successfully?
Could you get back to me over the support ticket that I replied yesterday?

I am having this exact same problem. Any ideas?

    Hi debojitm,

Did the plugin log you out after import?
If not, it means the database is not brought over.

Could you check if the size of the file downloaded matches with the one shown on your Backups page of your exported site?

    Hi Pim,

It did not log me out…and I have tried this twice on local wordpress installs. Failed both times. file size seems the same. i checked and found the database files copied but looks like the site data did not.

    Hi debojitm,

If it does not log you out that means there is no database imported.
Could you make sure your wp-content permissions have been recursively set to 775 on your exported site and attempt to export again?
Please let me know if the size of the file changes at all.

    Hi Pim,

i am facing the similar problem. after the backup was restored, i attempted to submit the perma links but that link just died on me to a blank page. then on, i am logged out and can no longer log in. i did verify the permission of the content folder to be 775.

a brief background of what i did:

after upgrading to wordpress 4.4.1, my site crashed and i have to downgrade wordpress and attempt to recover from my image. as my all in one migration plugin was not an updated version when i exported, i replaced the wp-content folder with my older one. then i uploaded the image via FTP and did the restoration.

    Hi jianxian35,

    Is the frontend also blank?

    Best,
    Pim

    yes. totally inaccessible.

i attempted another way to restore:

i wipe my public_html directory and replace with a fresh copy of wordpress, i installed your migrator 4.17 and upload the backup and attempt to restore, however it hands at “Restoring 5351 files 4% Complete”

    Hi jianxian35,

Do you mind reaching out to me at support at servmask.com, so I can have an engineer restore the site for you?
