• After smooth installation of WAMPserver and wrodpress I have built a new website.
Unfortunately after restart of the computer I can no longer access (404) WordPress dashboard nor my website.
The WAMPserver services are up and running and I’m able to access https://localHost with no problem.

The Apache HTTP server occupied port 80 as listener (thought I should mention it).
Any ideas and what went wrong?

    Thanks
    Benny

  • Hi bennygel,

Can you try to see and check if a .htaccess file exists inside your wordpress directory installation?

Are there any specific error messages showing up?

Also make sure that your database (most likely mysql) server is up and running too.

Please let us know how it goes. Thank you!

try this: Install Apache Service and restart WAMP

Click on WAMP Server icon > Apache > Service > Install Service > Restart service (after installing service)
