after put photos in an gallery, the next one gets in it also

I uploaded some picture and placed it as een gallery in an post.
But i want beside the pictures in an gallery an single picture in that same post, but whe i add that one it is also added to the gallery.
How do i manage to put in in th epost, without putting it in the gallery?
