Update the options siteurl and home in the table your_db_prefix_options. You can do that in your database administration tool, for example MySQLAdmin.

the multi sites can be eddited in the admin but the main site i could not find

and i had to look better in the database it was located at the bottem of the file

now it works fine

Rob, that’s for a single site setup and doesn’t work on the main site of a multisite.
