After payment on Cart page redirects to checkout

    In plugin settings I have “Buttons on Cart” enabled.
    When user pays from Cart Page, after successful payment he is taken to checkout to place the order.
    I can’t understand this behavior. Order should be placed automaticaly and user should be redirected to Thank you page. Is there a place I can change what happens after payment is made in Cart page?

    Hi @mroandersons,

    No, this behavior is correct and for now, there is no setting that would allow you to skip the final review on your checkout page. When clicking the express button on the single product page or the cart, then the user does not complete the payment in the PayPal popup window.
    From this window, the user selected their address details which are being transmitted to the native WooCommerce checkout fields.
    The user then has the chance to review the order/billing details and accept your terms from your own checkout page before actually placing the order.

    Previous plugin – WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway, automaticaly placed order and took buyer to Thank you page.
    Now it is so confusing and counter intuitive, when after payment is made user still needs to make steps to finish order.
    Express checkout on cart/product page looses its meaning if only thing it does is transmit the address.

    Hi @mroandersons,

    The express checkout from the previous PayPal Checkout plugin is working the same way as it does with PayPal Payments. The only difference is that with the Checkout plugin, the details on the confirmation page could not be modified.
    But in both cases, after selecting the shipping address and funding source in the PayPal popup window, the user is directed to the checkout page where the order is actually placed.
