• Hi,

When we use the empty cache button in the performance -> page cache, we got some problem on the blog. Our layout will be different when we click on a random article (not every article will be bad, but some of them will be), and sometimes instead of the article, there is only code.

    What can be the problem?

It happened after we updated the WP and plugins.

If you want picture about the problem, because you can’t see on the blog (sometimes it’s hidden on some devices), I can send to you pics.

    Please help, thanks!

  • The latest version of W3 Total Cache has a serious bug in it that affects the purging of caches. If the previous version of W3 Total Cache was working for you without any problems, it would probably be best to revert to the previous version (v0.9.5.4) of W3 Total Cache until the developers can fix things.

EDIT: I partially fixed this issue with the latest version of W3 Totale Cache by reverting all W3TC’s settings to default via the W3TC General Settings menu, disabling the Fragment Cache extension via the W3TC Extensions menu, and configuring all of my original W3 Total Cache settings manually.

But I still think it’d be better to revert to the previous version if it was running without problems for you.

    Thank you!

    How can we revert?

I had the same issue yesterday, rolled back to previous version using plugin WP Rollback and now it’s working fine. I’ll wait until they fix this mess to update the plugin again.

Once you install the plugin WP Rollback, a roll back link will appear next to each plugin in the Plugins tab of the Dashboard. Once you click, it will offer you several back versions to roll back to. Of course any such operation has its risks. With me, it worked just fine, but each WordPress installation is unique. If you website/blog is still generating error messages, it might be worth trying.

Another alternative, if your hosting provider has automatic backup, is to rollback the whole website through cPanel, but in this case you risk losing comments and edits that may have been added since the latest backup file was created.

it’s not working ?? What can we do?

What exactly is not working? Can you access the WordPress Dashboard? Did you manage to roll back the cache plugin to a previous version? Are you still seeing error messages?
