After moving wordpress to my root, some product files not showing up

    Hi,

    I have Migrated my wordpress from thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk/wp11 to thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk/ everything seems alright and working! I have transfered all the media files as well.
    The problem that i am facing is that some of the product images are not displayed. I have checked the image directories too and they are all there and I can view them using ftp. also as I go to media in wordpress dashboard, some of the photos are displayed but some seems to be blank, as I open the blank photos I can view them!
    If you have a look at the website I’m sure you will undrestand what I am trying to say.

    my bad! I typed in the wrong URL. here is the correct one: https://thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk

    No problem. I took a look at the “300 cm x 210 cm PErsian Kashmar Rug” and it looks like either the image name is incorrect or the image is missing. The code is looking for an image at https://thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_3802-300×400.jpg. There isn’t an image with that name at that URL. If you go there you get a not found error.

    If you go to https://thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ it will show you all of the images in that folder. If you look for IMG_3802 you’ll see the following images do exist:

    IMG_3802-1000×480.jpg
    IMG_3802-146×146.jpg
    IMG_3802-300×300.jpg
    IMG_3802-480×750.jpg
    IMG_3802-50×50.jpg
    IMG_3802-576×450.jpg
    IMG_3802-600×600.jpg
    IMG_3802-640×500.jpg
    IMG_3802-85×85.jpg
    IMG_3802-890×470.jpg
    IMG_3802-960×750.jpg

    However, there isn’t one named IMG_3802-300×400.jpg which is what the webpage is trying to use. You either need to create an image that is IMG_3802-300×400.jpg or possibly change the page to use the IMG_3802-300×300.jpg. That might be the next best fit.

    The same thing is happening with “310 cm x 240 cm Fine Persian bakhtirari Rug”

    Thanks for your help portlight. you are right! but why is this happening? on the previous version everything was working fine and I just migrated the wordpress from one directory to the root.
    do you think is there any other way that I can fix this issue without creating the image file and uploading it for every single picture?

    I just went to check out the old version to see what the difference is, and it looks like it is working now on your main site. What did you do to get it fixed?

    well no I have just started to create pictures with the required name and upload them manually. but it takes ages to do it for every single product.
    so if you check older products, the problem is still there. ??

    and https://thamesorientalcarpets.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ (new version) you will see that some of the files like IMG1100 one is not completely migrated ! in the old version I have more of IMG1100 than the new version.

    what is the best way to take a clean back up and upload them to the new version folder? previously I used filezilla

    LATEST UPDATE:

    I just talked with the support team of my Host provider and they said that it has to be done through SSH as the folder is too big.
