@knudkp – Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

    Thanks!

I tried to run the “reset” tool, and in someway it helped. I also tried to deactivate and reinstall and clean my db. But the err. still came back.

My website is on a LSWS (LiteSpeed Web Server) and it looks like this is the issue! Both NextGEN, Max Galleria and Gallery Bank came out with the same error.

Now I am moving https://www.knuds.net back to one.com.

When this is done, I will use NextGen again

    thanks

@knudkp – Thanks for the follow-up, please let us know if the server move sorts things out (also to note, you may need to use the Reset Tool after the migration as well).

    Thanks, again!

I moved knuds.net from a … I think its called a “Leight weight” Linux webserver to a “standard” Apache server at my host one.com

Furtunatly I had an old backup, so my site was up running in 2 minutes ??

I installed for the first time ever NextGEN gallery, made a gallery, imported 13 pictures, went to other settings and told the plugin to resize my pictures … and then everything went wrong.

Wen i went to the new PAGE I made, there were no ‘green buttom’ to add the gallery to my page, and the menu in the backend dissapeard.

    Now I gave up

    thanks

@knudkp – Although moving to a more robust server environment may have helped it could be something in the back-up you used to restore the site that brought forward the issue onto the new server.

I would suggest repeating all of the troubleshooting steps previously tried if you choose to try again with this.

    Thanks!
