    Hi,
I installed WPS Hide Login and changed the login URL to admin. All is fine except when I receive the Wordfence alert e-mail the URL still says /wp-admin. Can I change this in Wordfence somewhere?
Also now I am not able to access the “Scan” in Wordfence since this still points to /wp-admin so I only get the 404 page.

Hello @lapg and thanks for reaching out to us!

Generally, if you change the login URL, you will run into some issues with access to the admin-ajax.php, which your Wordfence scan uses. Without access to this, it won’t be able to perform any actions.

https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2017/10/should-you-hide-wordpress-login-page/ is an older post but it’s a great video from our blog to provide additional information on this.

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks!
