After install “WP to Twitter”, I get ban from Twitter

  • Dear All,

    I have installed “WP to Twitter” for 2 weeks and now I get ban from Twitter.

    According to shadowban test, I get “Search Suggestion Ban” and “Search Ban” from Twitter. My account and post won’t show in any Twitter search.

    Twitter daily impression have dropped from 20k to 1k in 1 day.
    and daily click count have drop from over 300 to around l0 clicks only.

    Would you mind let me know how can a fix the Twitter Ban ?

    A ban will be connected to how you use WP to Twitter, so without detailed information about that, there isn’t much I can see. If you’re using it to bulk publish a bunch of very similar information, then that’s going to look like abuse, no matter what your intentions might be.

    It’s unlikely that it’s directly connected to the plug-in itself, but could absolutely be related to what you’re doing with it, and would happen with any equivalent tool.
