after install VPS server didnt work htaccess file

  • after install shred server to vps server didnt work my htaccess file showing : Rewrite rules
    plz help me to fix this one?

    Click in WordPress on Settings > Permalinks and click on “Save settings”. This should add the RewriteRules to your .htaccess again. Make sure, that WordPress has permissions to modify your .htaccess (chmod 664).

    And at the same time, why gzip not working in my wordpress site using vps server.
