After I installed wordpress and proceeded through the initial installation, I received the default username “admin” and a computer generated password. When user and pass are typed into the appropriate areas and I click the Log in button, the page is only and index page with all the .php flles installed in that particular directory. Any help would be amazing, I’ve been trying to figure this for weeks….. https://www.burningmansions.com

You have nothing there. Your directory is empty, hence it has nothing to display but an index of whatever might be there. If you did an install, you either did it in an incorrect directory, or it was deleted. I don’t see any php files there right now, but if you are seeing php files and there is an index.php page, then it likely means that php isn’t working on your server.

I am having the same problem. I am trying to install WordPress locally. It sent through the installation fine, but when after I login, I get a directory list of the php files. The index.php file is there. Is there anything special we have to do in the Apache server or php.ini file? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Nevermind, I clicked on the index.php, it brings up the page okay now. I guess my server isn’t setup to know to execute index.php after login.
