After creating a submenu, main menu item does not go to proper page

  • Hello,

    I am using the free Kale theme and I am loving it! However, I added a sub menu item today under Contact and now it will not click through to the Contact page. The sub menu item works (about), but not the main contact page.

    Any first-level item with sub-items turns into a dropdown toggle. This is so that there’s enough clickable area to access the dropdown for users on touch screens.

    Changing this behavior requires a thorough revamp of the theme—and that’s exactly what we’re doing right now for a future update.

    In the meantime, you can just duplicate the first-level link and add it to the dropdown. Please see the “Shop” menu item in our demo as an example.
