After cloning wrong links to original website

  • hello together,

    I tried to clone my website (tld) to a subdomain of another project. the clone process worked fine and run without any problems or error messages. in the end I’ve even got a success message.
    after that I wanted to see the new (cloned) page. the page appears and look like the original. BUT….
    if I click to an internal link (for example page navigation) of the cloned subdomain the links switch to the original website automatically.
    what can I do to solve this issue?

  • We have added a fix for this in the latest 4.0.1 XCloner version, so when restoring all your old url’s are replace with a value you can specify.

    Please do let me know if you still encounter any issues.
