    Dear all,

I’ve changed the permalinks and updated the .htaccess, everything is running.
Unfortunately JetPack tells me that I lost the connection to my webside. So I followed the instructions (did some checks…) no findings.
I unconnect, and reconnect -> still not connected.
I delete the plugin and reinstalled it: sill not connected.
If I do a reconnection it tells me, that this was successfull and I can see some statistics, but it still shows at the upper left corner of the jetpack site an error message: “no connected to your side”.

Does anybody knows what to do?
    Appreciate your help!
    Peter

    Hi Peter

The site URL you shared doesn’t seem to be in our system, so we’re having trouble testing it.

At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

    Thanks!

    Hi Dan!
some news: I changed the permalinks back to the old version but it still wasn’t connecting. Finaly I found out, that the problem occured because I decided to define my WordPress-Adresse (URL) and Website-Adresse (URL) directly within the wp-confi; this works, but it seems that this was the reason why I lost connection.

So I switched back by setting the paramenter into the settings page of WP and deleted the entry in the wp-config; after that I was able to reconnect.

So, it is working, but my basic problem is still unsolved: A URL like this “https://www.xn--ostseestrmer-klb.de” (a nightmare) ??
    Thanks for your support Dan!
