after cart update error

    I have among other discounts 5% on orders over €75
    If you have in your cart above that amount the discount rule applies but a serious problem occurs after you remove items so that the total amount falls below that amount . A customer in this case cannot go on with the purchase unless he increases the items to above the 75 again ( or deletes browser history). You keep getting an error message regarding the discount.

    I noticed that when the use of coupons are activated in checkout options this problem does not occur.
    I prefer not to have the coupon box on the cart page unless I have issued coupons to customers

    Hi

    Since the plugin depends on the coupon api methods of woocommerce (there is no otherway around), you will have to have the coupon enabled.
    What you could do is : You cna hide the coupon box by adding a simple CSS in your theme’s css file.
