After Admin Login no Admin Area visible

  • Hi Support-Team,

    It looks like my WordPress site has been updated to version 5.5. The frontend works without problems. When I want to log in to the backend, the admin login appears. After typing in my credentials, I am not forwarded to the dashboard, but only see HTML code. What can I do to get my admin area working again?

  • There have been a number of plugins and themes causing issues similar to this since the 5.5 release. If you updated to 5.5 from 5.4.2 I’d advise downgrading back to 5.4.2 until you’re themes and plugins all support 5.5.
