• I got two licences of the PRO plugin for two different communities. I installed, activated and set up the plugin in both of them. In the first one all navigation to buddypress pages stopped working and led me to our 404 page, everytime I clicked a buddypress menu button. I updated and saved my permalinks structure and now the plugin works well for that community. No problems there.

But I have the same problem with the second licence when I installed it in the second community, it has happened the same thing I cannot navigate or use the buddypress menu because always leads me a 404 page. I can indeed navigate in the site but to pages that are not buddypress related, I mean regular pages. I tried the same tricks I used for the previous instalation in the other community but they haven’t worked.

Could you please help with this. It is like the pluging makes the whole Buddypress stop working.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi jgavialn,

Thank you very much for your message.

I believe there might be a plugin conflict in your second community. Would you please try deactivating all plugins and checking if that fixes the problem? Please rest assured that you’re eligible for a full refund in case we’re not able to get it working on your setup.

    Best regards,

Hi guys, I have deactivated all the plugins and the problem does not seem to be that one. It keeps happening exactly the same thing after every plugin I desactivate, nothing changes. It seems like the navigation links do not work. Could you please give further ideas on what it may be happening.

    Thanks in advance again,

    Hi jgavilan,

Are you sure you have permalinks enabled on your website?

Yes I do. Please read my first email. I said I got a similar problem with another licence I bought from you. I re-saved permalinks and it worked well for that site. But with the second license the permalinks update did not work.

    Thanks.

Oh I really apologize I missed that.

The only remaining thing I could think of is that you’re using a non BuddyPress compatible theme in the community that’s not working. Would you please try with the standard theme that comes with the latest WordPress?

If this doesn’t work, then could you kindly share with us any major differences between the community where the plugin is working and the one where it isn’t?

    Thanks again.
    Tarek
