I activated the plugin and implemented the pages, and then when I refreshed the page – it said that my website “is currently unable to handle this request” and won’t load, giving me error 500 on Google Chrome..

This is only after I use the “ProfilePress Links” – it seems there is an error with the URL you are providing, at least that is what I believe. I added edit profile, my profile, and login | logout to the navigation and this is what occurred. Feedback?

Hi, can you remove the edit profile and my profile link from the menu and see if the error disappears?

    Let me know the outcome.

The edit profile and my profile are actually links to ProfilePress powered front-end user profile and “edit profile form” pages.

You don’t have the plugin installed thus the error.

Might fix this in next release.

    Cheers.

    Hello,

This situation happened to me earlier today when I am going to “Customize” section. I previously installed a new theme and added a few pages.

    Any solution for me, please?

    Thank you!

Hi alexvlaston, just don’t include edit profile and my profile link to your menu if do not have ProfilePress PRO (https://profilepress.net) installed.

Will try and reproduce this and hopefully push out a fix.

Also – a tip to keep in mind: If you have errors like this, go to your database and look up your “error” file and see what is happening within that error file. Errors are written to this file when things start going wonky and if you have customer support access they can walk you through on how to deal with these errors.

    Figured it out..

    Open wp-config.php
Set define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); – or 128M if still has error

    Hope that helps! ??
