After a server migration posts appear doubled
-
My friend who hosts my site recently had to move my site from one server physically to another. He did a direct transfer of the files (including all of the DBs) and left the file and directory structures and permissions intact. All of my subdomains running wordpress came through just fine and didn’t require any tweaking or other adjusting. For some reason, however, the main site is acting strange. First, the posts are all doubled. Second, the menu that normally appeared along the right side with links and catagories and such disappeared. Before I upgrade the blogs to 2.2 I want to make sure the blogs are all healthy. I’ve tried disabling all the plugins but no change. I’ve tried reenabling each one at a time but also no change. I used myPHPadmin and looked at the dbs and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. As far as I can tell nothing changed from before the move to after. What am I missing? What should I do to correct it? Thanks in advance for your help! (https://www.arielbenjamin.com)
