After 3.1.3 New Installation – Images Do not Display

  • Recently started a new site locally.

    After installation, images do not display and when attempting to view image, the following error is reported:

    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access /Projects/tccrockets/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/headers/path.jpg on this server.

    I have been installing WP for years and have never had to adjust permissions for images. All folders and files have correct permissions when checking in terminal.
