Thanks to @sopra27, a problem of the Hueman theme v3.3.1 has been fixed.
version 3.3.2 is on its way.

As soon as v3.3.2 is released on the platform, I’ll be happy to read the feedbacks of all other users who have reported the same problem.

Update : the links widget seems to cause issues with the customizer.
The links widget has been deprecated long time ago but if you had it activated, it will remain in every new installs. Make sure you replace it with a mode recent link management plugin.

Sorry but I don’t understand what you mean but the link widget… I looked through my widgets and I don’t see to be using the link widget. Are you referring to a specific plugin offering this widget?

Hi Rob,
The link widget was a built-in WordPress widget in old versions. It’s not a specific plugin.
If you don’t see it in your widget list, you don’t have to worry about my previous reply.

Hi Nicolas, sorry to tell you but the customizer still freezes using safari (10.0.2) under MacOs 10.10.5 using Hueman 3.3.2 and addons 2.0.4. I don’t have the Links widget (whatever that was!). It’s not a major problem because the customizer works using Firefox (50.1.0) under MacOs. The situation has been the same (safari no, firefox yes) since 3.3.0. Btw the ability to apply different design options to different parts of the site is brilliant!
