After 2.8.4 Upgrade – LiveWriter Giving Server Error

  • I just upgraded to 2.8.4, now when I upload to my site via LiveWriter I get an error:

    “The response to the metaWeblog.newPost method received from the blog server was invalid:

    Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server.”

    Never got this before. I tried having LiveWriter go back in to my blog and set itself up again but the error remains.

    Despite the error the new article is posted, however, I can’t get my twitter plug-in to run.

    Any ideas?

    I don’t believe it has anything to do with the twitter plugin as I disabled it and the error still appeared.
