After 1.5 install: “Error 404 – Not Found” in the Text-Area

    Hi @ all!

    I installed WP 1.5 today, everything worked great, but when I visit the new Blog there is a “Error 404 – Not Found”-error in the Text-Area.
    The problem ocours only with the new Template, when I change to the classic-Template everything is okay.

    I?′m new at WP, so i have no idea what to do!

    Would be great if someone can help me!

    Make sure the new template folder isn’t a sub-folder. Should be like this:
    wp-content>themes>newtheme

    Not like this:
    wp-content>themes>newtheme>newtheme

    The Folders are on the right place.
    It?′s the new default theme from WP 1.5.
    When I directly go to the index.php everything will be displayed.
    When i change to the classic-theme everything wil be displayed,

    Any ideas? Noone with the same problem?

    Set your permalink value to blank, make a backup copy of your .htaccess file, delete your .htaccess file, and check again.
