Affiliate Widgets Not Showing

  • Hello everyone.

    I apologize if this is the wrong place. If this is the case, please feel free to refer me to somewhere more relevant. However, since the problem doesn’t seem to be due to a WordPress plugin, and since the issue is definitely with my site, I don’t know where else to go for assistance.

    I’ve had this issue for a while, but since I am wanting to fully implement Amazon Affiliates into my site it has now become a big issue.

    Whenever I try to add affiliate widget code into ANY part of my posts, the posts stop showing and only the widget shows. I’ve tried the widgets after my content (plugin), Ad Inserter, Advanced Ads, and just adding the code straight into the content.

    At times the page will load – so I know that the code is working, the widget will show as intended. However, more often than not, all of the content on the page will disappear and ONLY the widget will appear. Nothing else. This is site-breaking as my website is a blog and I want to include the widgets inside other posts.

    I have tried multiple different browsers (on private/incognito), have reset my site and Cloudflare cache every time between tests, and am still unable to isolate the issue. Any help would be very greatly appreciated! I’d just like to be able to show the widgets amongst my content.

    Here is a link to an example post (the only one where I have currently included the widget). The widget should show near the bottom of the page (above the email CTA). However, the widget usually either refuses to load, or it is the only think on the page that shows.

    Hi devitaliza,

    you mentioned my Advanced Ads plugin which got my attention.

    I checked your site and see an Amazon ad above the email CTA (“?Ultimate Guide to Seoul!”). After a couple of reloads, I saw a much larger section also from Amazon with the “Recommendations and More!” title above it. Now it is always there, without any issues. Is that the ad you are referring to?

    If that is so and you still experience an issue all the time, it might be something in your browser or system, as an ad blocker. Could that be possible?
