Is it possible if my website is affiliated with other websites.

So when other websites display my products on their domains, and when users order these products, then go to the cart / checkout page on my website?

Is this possible? Maybe with a plugin?

    thank you

@julanjubalam – if they other sites are also using WooCommerce, they can set these products up as “External Products” instead of the default “Simple Product” type. They can then enter the URL of your products to direct users to your site to purchase the product.

Otherwise they could add the URL for your product on their site using whatever platform they currently run.

They can even have the item automatically added to the cart with the url.

Here’s an example guide on how to format your URLs to do that:

    Hi @fullysupportedphil

    Thank you for your reply.

Their site doesn’t use woocommerce. So they only took the API from woocommerce on my site.

And what they want is, when there are buyers on their site, it directs to the cart page or checkout page on my site.

    Is this possible?

They would need to use an “Add to Cart” URL as I mentioned above @julanjubalam. That would link the customer to your site and add the product to their cart in the process.

You would determine the proper URL for each of your products and then provide it to these sites.

If you plan on having multiple sites do this, then you will likely want to look at adding a proper affiliate tracking plugin to your website such as these:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/affiliates-pro/
    https://woocommerce.com/products/affiliatewp/

    Hi @fullysupportedphil

    Great. Thank you very much!

One more question. do they bring items selected on the outside site (such as the number of items, the name of the buyer etc.) to the cart or checkout my site?

No, that would not be possible.

Transferring the contents of a shopping cart from a separate website to yours would require a great deal of custom development, especially since you don’t know what non-WooCommerce platform those sites are running. You would need to build custom connections between your site and these third-party sites and each integration would need to be customized based on the third-party site you are connecting to.

I would suggest not trying to pursue that as a setup for your business as it would likely cost you a large sum to set up and maintain a system like that.
