Affiliate products not showing in sitemap if canonical

@schifo When you modify the canonical value in Yoast SEO to use another URL, it is automatically not included in the sitemap. This is the expected behavior so the non-inclusion of the URLs is intended and is outlined here: https://developer.yoast.com/features/xml-sitemaps/functional-specification/

The reason for this is not to infer that the URLs are not indexed (such as in the case when you set ‘Show in search results‘ to ‘No‘). Instead, the URLs are not included/submitted as part of that domain’s sitemap URLs because the intention of the canonical is to pass the URLs weight to the value set in the canonical URL and NOT that of the page’s actual URL.

However, if there are URLs you still want to include in the sitemap that not, you can add an external sitemap containing the URLs to your sitemap_index.xml using the wpseo_sitemap_index developer filter.
