Affiliate Link Showing on Google Structure Testing Tool

Hi Tom. FYI – we haven’t forgotten about you. The issue you reported isn’t a factor for SEO so haven’t made this a high priority. Also made a rule not to release any changes to plugin during the busy holiday season unless something critical. This is something we’ll address in the new year.

But on the structuring testing tool, the affiliate links are showing which shouldn’t be. Only the instructions or steps should be shown instead.
In other plugins, people are inserting links to the instructions but on the tool, it is only showing the text instead of affiliate link and anchor.

You can check other websites that are using other plugins like tasty recipes or wp recipe maker.

And yes, you can schedule this update on the new year or on december.. but this is really important on googles eye and shouldn’t be neglected at all.
