Affiliate Discount not visible at checkout

Hello, i have recently created an affiliate code for my website which applies a discount of 5% to the whole order. I wanted to test it and found that it does apply at checkout, however, it does not show the price reduction in the order overview. Does anyone know how to make the discount visible at checkout?
