Affiliate Ad will not post via text Widget

  • I copy and paste the given code into the text widget, then it does something weird and reformats the text. I click save then when I go to observe the changes, it simply says ‘amazon.com widgets’ but no ad is displayed. please help.

  • Please consult your ad provider. Since neither WordPress Core or any default Theme include such functionality, you must work with the provider of such.

    As pioneer said, this probably isn’t the place. But, are you sure you went through their installation / configuration instructions fully?

    It’s just an ordinary Amazon ad…nothing special. I actually logged into my husband’s blog (he has a simple, free, WordPress theme) and the Ad appeared as normal using the widget. no issues at all. however…. I’m thinking maybe it’s not working the same way for me because I recently bought a premium WordPress theme along with the Custom Design upgrade. That’s the only difference between me and my husband’s blogs.
