Advice Needed for Site Requirements

Hi,

I’ve used WP for a while now and looking to work on a new site but with the following features:

Ability for user registration upon subscription
Access to certain pages only when logged in
Ability to allow user private notes to be recorded on certain items within a feed:
– Say one page displays 5 image links, they can mark the images as complete / in progress and add notes. These notes will only be viewable by the specific user

I suspect that I will be looking at a combination of a well programmed theme and / or plugins, but can anyone advise?
