Advert/link added to my site

  • I seem to have an advert at the top bar of my site for a poker site. I don’t know where this has come from or how to get rid of it, is it a wordpress advert?

    I cannot tell where it’s coming from, I can only see it on a computer that I haven’t logged on to wordpress with, which is odd, I thought self hosted was ad free.

    No, your site is entirely self-contained, no one “from WordPress” can force ads onto your site.

    I don’t see the link there as described myself. Try temporarily disabling all of your browser add-ons or extensions, then clear your browser’s cache. If the link is no longer there, one of your browser add-ons or extensions was corrupted by something, and you should replace it.
